Dark images can be difficult -- everyone's monitor settings are different and it's hard to tell if this will look correct, washed out, or too dark to other viewers. Of course, I'm hoping for 'correct.' The sword was a little problematic too because it's two-handed, but couldn't extend beyond the composition to a more appropriate length. It was intended to look foreshortened, but I don't think I pulled that off very well. I'll have to fix that. Anyway, my character Xaphan doing his run-straight-at-something-with-a-sword-t hing.

I even set my monitor to a brighter-than-usual setting in order to view the full detail in this picture. How you repeated, so accurately, each of those little plates on the shiney belt-thingie he's wearing. F'awesome.

His hair too, and the pelt on his back. How you worked the wind blowyness into those is pretty nifty indeed

I just love your work!
It is my humble opinion, though, that here it would be fine if you let the sword be cut by the frame (as are the cloak and robe).

Well done. Beautiful details. Plenty of energy in his body and pose, but his face seems too calm for a "charge over the ramparts" kind of action. He looks angry enough, its just that he seems to need more energy in his expression, like hate, fury or insane glee. I don't know any of the characters that are portrayed on DA so I may be wrong about him. You do fantastic faces and I know you could create any expression you wanted. The stormy "clouds" behind him are perfect for the scene, though. I see nothing wrong with the sword either.
