I don't often paint landscapes, so this was something a bit different...also a compositional challenge that I'm not sure I was successful with. I do like the blue-gray mood of it, though. It's an illustration for the story featured on my web site...my character Dustin looking uncharacteristically morose.

This is just beautiful. The whole landscape is amzingly detailed, and I love all the corpses and weapons scattered around the field. Not to mention how well you've done the character himself, you've conveyed his expression wonderfully. Amazing job. Just amazing. It's a very beautiful, but eerie, setting.

Pure beauty ... The mountains look so real, just like in a photo. You have so much detail, it's amazing. I'd never have the patience tp finish a picture like this. I love the sword in the foreground :heart:
