Very adorable sketches at the end of your tutorial! I find it cute how you incorporated different clothing from different time periods, for example the roaring 20's flapper girl and bell bottom pants which were popular in the 70's. Very cute indeed!

Always loved the visual expressiveness of your characters' 'animations' on the page.

Question about the "stiff" pose; could that work for, say, a Royal Guard or something similar? P:

I've been teaching myself about figure drawing lately, and positively FANTASTIC things like these are becoming very helpful. I'm glad you posted it on DA.

That drawing of Ivy (the one where her feet almost touch the bottom border, and she's in a skirt) looks a little like Poly Styrene (aka, Marianne Elliot-Said). I know it's incidental, but I can't help but feel that it isn't. Maybe it's because I'm British.

Gorgeous, as always.

I have been looking at your sketches again, and I've noticed that young Viktor looks a lot like Rocky. Now since the newest comic mentions about Viktor having an offspring, I'm getting some serious ideas here...

Thanks so much for posting this! Poses are something that I've always struggled with, so it's useful to have a guide that boils them down to something so simple.
HoneyWolfRin Featured By Owner Dec 1, 2013
Wow! THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHH! Your tutorials are so amazing, of the most helpful I've had the luck to come across!! Whenever I draw, the characters look so stiff and awkward, now I'll be able to make my characters look more real! That line of action stuff helps lots, so thanks for this!
