I said I wasn't going to be posting any more of these for a while, but I LIED.
Actually, this one wasn't part of the plan initially, but I had a spot where I could explain Freckle's acrobatic prowess (his gunslinging is often something of a gymnastic feat) or just leave it unexplained...the idea of drawing them as children was irresistable, though, so I threw it in. I figured it kinda sorta worked as a stand-alone comic better than most of the others I've been working on.
The story takes place in 1927...the '1914' thing in the corner is my lame version of a flashback marker.
So yeah...it's kind of huge because of that extra panel -- apologies to those with low screen resolutions.
