The noodle dialogue won't make any sense unless you've read the previous comic (Lackadaisy Spaghetti). Then and only then will it make...uh, marginally more sense.
Tune in for future comic installments when things happen. Yes, actual things! I promise you things. Things beyond just conversation, at least.

The adding machine bit seems to be confusing some people. It you read the comic intro here in my gallery, or the comic entitled Lackadaisy Formaldehyde, it should -hopefully- be more apparent why she chucked it. (reading everything in chronological order might help too...check lackadaisycats.com for that)

Also, Mitzi's magical side-swapping whiskers seem to be just as annoying/confusing. That's a stylistic thing, really. Her whiskers overlapping her cheeks tend to detract from the soft look her face is supposed to have, so I usually draw them only where they don't interfere much with her face.
